Early Morning Swans

Not a sight I often get the chance to capture so thought I'd do swans this morning instead of dogs.
We were on our morning walk and I saw them coming, whipped out the camera, zoomed and totally lost them. By the time I 'unzoomed' and got them into focus they were on their way past me but managed to catch them but cut off the lead swan in his/her prime!
Saw lots of birds on the walk, which isn't unusual, but we did see a wren which isn't so common so it was good day for 'twitching'!

As you can see, it was a beautifully clear day, not a cloud in the sky but VERY cold. All of the puddles were frozen so don't forget to get out there with your hammer and break the ice on the bird bath so they can get a drink.
