My sister inlaw popped in this morning.we had a chat over a cup of tea.she is getting over a shoulder replacement after a nasty fall .she is going for her weekly physio this afternoon.i walked down to the supermarket to get a few things.i walked backed home through the play park.this area has always flooded after heavy rain.to the left of it was once the fishermen's net drying area .them were the days when the harbour was full of fishing boats like the luggers.now except two are pleasure boats.i also remember the coal boats coming in and watching the crane lowering the bucket to unload the coal.how things have changed over the years.H did his boat building five year apprenticeship in the once boat yard.then it was busy working harbour.
