Spot the odd one out!

A very raw day with none of yesterday's sunshine and blue skies. There was a heavy frost during the night but there was so much dampness in the air that the car was much easier to scrape.

The usual Tuesday morning activities .... badminton, dog walking and some food shopping. Just before coming home for lunch I nipped up to the Heritage Park Loch so see what the bird life was up to.

The small area of open water was very crowded with gulls, ducks and the swans had learned their lesson yesterday and were with the other birds today. 

The thick ice still covered most of the water and this group of black headed gulls were quite happy just standing with their backs to the activity in the open water.
