Dashing

Another frantically busy day, including dashing across the city to get to a meeting (which got interrupted by a fire alarm) and back again to another. Passed a new decoration on the side of this Grassmarket building - Santa has replaced the summer flowers that were here earlier in the year. Tricky discussion about an away day tomorrow that meant I then needed to go back to my office late to start tracking down emails and documents that I'll need to hand. I can't say I'm looking forward to it.
The extra after hours work meant I missed a reception/celebration that I'd been expected at and would have been nice (mind you it's so cold I'd have arrived frozen at it then chilled down again on the way home, and I'm too tired for a late night socialising).
After some supper I headed to bed with a cup of tea and the laptop again
