A Chilly Dawn

There were some beautiful moments of pinkness first thing this morning but no actual sunrise to be seen, as a blanket of cloud obscured the horizon. 

Although the colours were less interesting by then, the reflections in the river were great, as you can see in 'My Third' journal.

Photography indulgences were all over by 08.15. I had an appointment to go to in the morning and a delightful afternoon and dinner with my grandsons (and their mummy and daddy!)
