OUTREACH

Intrigued to say the least while witnessing a small crowd develop in their parking lot... I inquired within about the day’s sudden activity. It was explained to me that once per month they’d be offering community members who may be challenged with food scarcity an opportunity to stop by and select fresh items from their pantry. Apparently, the impression is that people in our neighborhood may be apprehensive about this particular organization’s faith & therefore offering to help feed local neighbors might assist in thoughtfully building a bridge and strengthening connections with neighboring individuals.

I believe in the tremendous power & influence which just the tiniest bit of OUTREACH can create. What a lovely gesture. WE all need to eat after all.
