Monday 2019 — “Ford vs Ferrari” the movie

When I married Mr. Fun, he was all about cars, especially foreign sport cars. Because we married so young, all my girlfriends were still in high school, so Mr. Fun’s friends became my best friends.

I would go to the sports car races with Mr. Fun and all his buddies at Riverside Raceway, Willow Springs Raceway, and Santa Barbara at the make-shift raceway at the airport. I’d read the program and learn the names of all the drivers, the cars, and many many details.

When one of my favorite drivers was killed in a race accident in March 1974, I pretty much lost interest in racing.

This movie “Ford vs Ferrari” is full of energy and lots of sound. It was a very good movie.
