Nankeen night heron fishing - Mandurah WA

So interesting to watch - it was pretty windy and the water was quite rough. The heron gripped onto the side of the wharf, waited for a wave which obviously it could see a little fish in and it dived down grabbed the fish and then pulled itself back onto the wharf to eat it. Must have very strong leg muscles.
