Country Escape

We are away for a few days of R&R in the Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania at a resort that we came to many times when the boys were younger.  We liked it because there were lots of activities for the kids and there was a world-class spa where we could indulge ourselves for a few days. We have lots of great memories of this place and our visit has brought many of them back.  

It may seem strange that two retirees need some R&R; after all, isn’t life just continuous R&R now?  Sometimes the demands and obligations of day to day life are just nice to escape.  As we were driving in, we came across this very pastoral scene and I stopped to capture it.
