Before & After

At 'Feathers Are Us' the crows were really keen to look good . Not just vanity.  It's been a cold, wet day, one where feathers  needed top  maintenance  with  a layered puffed up look..It may illustrate   the expression 'ruffled feathers' but  creates warmth for them .This bird obliged with a back view then flitted to the top rail to pose showing off a splendid warm vest ......
*still no sign of Mr Remarkable.and the duck with the cracked bill is certainly no more .. Nature has a tough life...
