ready for winter?

I was Dad's taxi today, taking Nick and Liz to B'ham airport as they to Zanzibar to celebrate their 30th birthdays (Liz last week but Nick's not until January). On the way home I stopped off at the canal that runs parallel to the A38. I didn't feel inspired for photography but this lived on narrow boat made me think, autumn leaves, but are they ready for winter.
