Now THAT's a helluva time frame?

I wasn't, initially, aware that getting "the Battery" added to PV panels also included a 2nd generation "Smart meter".
For reasons I needn't bore you with my current provider is/was fitting it.
Realistically:-
Rather than "Between we start & end work" why didn't they just say
"Some time during the 9th of November."
The extra is what I expected Yesterday's to look like; different backdrop, of course.

HOW the hell could they have the sheer GAUL to charge for a "missed appointment" when they didn't set one?
