Rain Break

The rain was heavy through the night and drizzly all morning into early afternoon. When the sun came out for a bit, Bunker and I hopped in the cart to see what we could see. The earth seemed to be soaking up the moisture, the plants were standing a bit taller and the layer of dust had been washed off the rocks.

I am grateful for a quick haircut this morning, a bit of grocery shopping, then home to start some soup for dinner. 

The bird feeders have been topped off so my work is done for the day.
