Happy Purim

Bumped into a friend Les in the park. Here is her dog Tilly surveying all of her land.

There's a huge party going on along the street. I live on the edge of a large orthodox Jewish community and today is Purim apparently, so there are all sorts of festivities going on. Everyone is out in the streets in costumes and chatting and larking about. I took my camera along but alas, the batteries went.

(Advice please, my rechargeable batteries are only lasting a couple of minutes these days, despite being charged up for ages. Is it the camera or the batteries at fault? It is an old camera. Thank You).

Anyway I'm off to join the party.
