Swans and neighbourhood cat.
When I peeped out of the window this morning there was a coating of frost on the roofs. It is a light morning, with the Wintry sun just visible.
I got wrapped up warmly and went for a walk to see what would be interesting for a good blip.
Walked to High Street bridge, and the pair of swans were gliding up the canal towards me, along with several ducks and Canada geese.
I blipped the swans from a few different angles and they seemed to wait as if hoping for some bread.
I didn't have any, but sometimes on a Sunday many people appear and feed the canal birds, so I hope they were fed afterwards.
On my way home, I noticed two cats sitting on a wall, but one jumped down and disappeared at the sight of my camera. This little treasure remained and provided me with a cute pose.
We are visiting my son's family at 3pm and then I shall be watching Loch Ness and later, Mr. Selfridge, having enjoyed the first episode last Sunday.
Keep warm, snow due here possibly Monday.
