Flax flower weaving

The city of Timaru has decided that they would like to present every tourist who comes into port on a cruise ship with a flax rose - a connection with their local culture and historic Rose gardens.

They need at least 2000 si they put the call out for people to come to a workshop to help out. I'd always wanted to learn how to weave them so went along to help out.

I made almost 20.
