Taking off

We finally made it to the farm. The main road is closed for repairs so we had to take the back roads. OH BOY! So, we spot this eagle on the creek. Not something you see out here on the ridges very often. Our creek is more like a run most of the time. Today there was only a few inches of water running. We stop the truck I jump out, no shoes on, and set up to take a few shots. Usually there is no traffic on this road but of course today as I stand in the middle of the road a school bus comes. Quick shot,  jump in the truck, drive away. This is all I managed to get but it was a bit of an adventure!
