Modern steamer

In yesterday's war diary entry for 20th November 1939 Lorna wrote about the mining of Simon Bolivar, a Dutch steamer.

Although this water colour is not contemporary with the diary, it feels appropriate that we should blip a steamship today. This is the last of the images in Lorna's boat frieze.
