grass is as high...

...as an elephant's big red roo's eye.

In cooler seasons this is A's afternoon walk playground chasing sticks and heading down to the creek.
In summer it's no go zone, a 'grass seed in the ear' disaster area.
Also potential for blue tongue lizards (waking up after a long hibernation)...which is cool...and legless lizards of the snaky variety...not so cool.
