Force of the sea

These waves and old sea defences are on the east Norfolk (UK) coast near the village of Happisburgh. A stout concrete sea wall, out of shot to the left, has helped protect part of this stretch of coast but not all and some houses remain under threat and over the years whole villages have tumbled into the sea.
