A day of relaxation.

A day of anticipation.

I enjoyed just hanging around a lovely hotel in a beautiful location, in a very exotic place.

The chief guide came to brief the 6 of us on what to expect the next day - a very early start, a 5 hour bus trip and then a long hike to our first camp.

It was also a day of some trepidation. I'd prepared well, but it was going to be a step into the unknown. Mental & physical demands which I'd never attempted before...
