The Wigeons are back!

These lovely little ducks only grace our shores and canal banks in the winter, when Scandinavia proves too chilly for them. (They are no use in snow, as they like to nibble on grass.) To my knowledge, they are the only species of duck that whistles.
     If you wonder what happened to my previous post, I ditched it. I tried to put up an improved picture, but then Mr Blipfoto would not let me reply to your lovely comments, so I gave up. At the moment everything to do with this blasted disc is going wrong. I will upload something again when I am in a better mood. Mr G Rumpy.
