Can’t get away from it

Continued from yesterday .....

We decided to escape from the dark events on the coast. Drove a good couple of hours North and stopped at a pleasant wine bar in Marlborough for a light lunch .... and mulled wine.

Then went for a walk along the High Street (England’s 2nd widest High Street). It’s changed since we visited a long time ago. A lot more chains, such a pity.

On our stroll I was devastated to see this sandwich board saying ‘an ice-cream seller has been found dead’. Looks like another Italian connection. Don’t tell me they’re up here too. Needless to say we left the area promptly. Who’ll be next?
