Brockhampton Manor House

Today we went to visit friends that live in Bromyard.  Fist we went for a pub lunch then on to National Trust Brockhampton Estate.  This is the back of the medieval manor house. The front of the building and the gatehouse are timber framed and really beautiful but were covered in scaffolding as they're being lime washed.

We then walked around Bromyard town before going back to our friends' house for tea, cake and lots of chat before returning home.

A lovely day and great to catch up with them and put the world to rights!
