lakeside at dusk

All the way along the drive home from work there was an amazing large full moon hanging low in the sky, I cursed myself for not throwing the camera in the car this morning. By the time I got home, it was still impressive, but much smaller.

Thankfully there was still some light and the sky had some amazing colours, so I nipped to the nearby country park and popped the tripod down by the water, snapped away till it went dark.

Another car pulled up and left its lights on, I thought it would spoil my fun, but actually they made an interesting light-source hitting the trees.

Quite happy with the outcome, even if I did miss out on that moon shot :(
