Snow and Trees

It started to snow at 9am today. Gentle steady snowflakes falling. It was still and very tranquil. Its been the same much of the day with the snow coming on and off. At points it has snowed quite hard but the roads are still clear as during the day its been just above freezing.

I took this photograph on my morning walk in Caidmuir Forest on the southern edge of Peebles. There were a few groups of people out walking, running and biking but the woods were generally peaceful and quiet.
