Flower Friday . . . Granny's Bonnet

. . .  or Aquilegia or Columbine.  There are so many flowers to photograph at this time of year.  I have chosen these because they are the last ones still flowering in my garden and I connect this colour with the blue columbine the State flower of Colorado.  The grass in the vase is Shivery Grass which was the only plant I brought  from Rotorua to this garden.  My late father in law had given me some and I love it when it comes back every year.
