Landed

Backblip. After breakfast we took David back to Dingwall.A beautiful day so popped down to Ferry Point.Mike stayed in the car while I had a wander. So calm with great reflections.Quite a few birds around and this redshank, I think, landed on the water in front of me. A man was sitting a bench with a scope so I walked behind him so I did not disturb him as it looked like he was counting.I spoke to him later when he pointed out the bullfinch in a nearby tree.He had been counting the birds and had clocked up quite a number of species,
On to Eden Court where it was the film festival.First we saw ‘ Down the rabbit hole’ .A film from one of our local photographers
https://jamesroddie.com/2019/11/02/down-the-rabbit-hole-a-new-film-and-exhibition/. Very good.
Then we saw Neil Brand presenting Laurel and Hardy. Info here https://www.hippodromecinema.co.uk/whats-on/neil-brand-presents-laurel-and-hardy/
Very entertaining and a great pianist too, so something abit different.
A quick meal before heading off to The Ironworks to see Wet,Wet,Wet.Although Marti Pellow is no longer the lead singer, Kevin Simm ( formerly from Liberty X) was very good and there was good interaction with the crowd. The bass player came into the crowd near to us :)
