As my son is sporting a hefty and unexpected plaster cast, complete with sticky out toes...

...and in the wake of my successful attempt last week stuffing and stitching Big Doggy "back to normal", I thought I would get creative and make a sock to go over his enormous foot.

One pair of old jogging bottoms did the trick. Chopped off the elasticated ankle end, turned it upside down and stitched it in a vague footshape.... voila!

Well... it's more of a bag with an elasticated bit round the ankle... but he has warm feet and it's thanks to me and my grandma's sewing box.
