"Red sky in the morning; shepherds warning"

The day started like this and I couldn't ignore it.
By 12:00 I could look the sun full in the face for minutes on end.
By 15:00 we were still housebound and set to go nowhere.
There was just enough snow to turn the lawn green :¬)).
I took a macro or two of the frosty moss on the lawn and the trailer cover showing more blue than white, insulted the Coracle and it said "Stick with the sunrise".

This is the first part of the weather-lore rhyme:

Red sky at night; shepherds delight,
Red sky in the morning; shepherds warning

Sometimes the phrase involves sailors rather than shepherds - both have a more than usual interest in the weather.
