Port Soif area

Quite cold for Nordic walking today, with hat and gloves on, it wasn't too bad! I only stopped once to take a photo, as it is such a palaver to take off my walking poles, which are strapped on with velcro, remove gloves, and unzip pocket to dig out my little camera. It was low tide, so good to walk across the beaches.
We got up really early this morning, as Henry left on the 7:30am flight to Manchester to return to Durham uni with 2 bags weighing 35kg plus a ruck sack weighing about 10 kg the zipper of which broke at the check-in! We bought a luggage strap gadget from the shop to hold it together! (Students are allowed to travel with over 20kg for no extra cost with Aurigny Airlines.)
