Exotic fruit

Not a flower but a fruit for today's Flower Friday. I was with Katie to have afternoon tea at the National Kitchen by Violet Oon (and very nice it was !) and while I had directed us to the roof terrace (where the restaurant wasn't) we saw this enormous pine apple like fruit hanging from a much smaller plant. I thought I recognised it and it was indeed the fruit of a pandan tree ! It seems to become orange when ripe and edible !
