Best laid plans....

Not exactly the picture I had planned for today. I had imagined getting up and going for a walk with my camera to take a photo to show the view from where I live....

I will need to keep that for another time as the Scottish weather wouldn't allow it today (or it would have been a pretty miserable picture if I had taken it).

Never mind the day turned out really nice with being woken to breakfast in bed from by fantastic husband followed by a nice lazy morning and then afternoon tea.

This cake tipped me from being full to being stuffed as sandwiches, scones and a chocolate brownie had gone before it.

Now feeling a bit sick if I'm honest so a lazy night it will be :)
