Smell of Baking

Pouring down and a very grey day.
The sort that can affect my mood, l really suffer from lack of daylight.
Went up to the gym to do my aerobics class, really good.
Did a shop on the way home, noticed they had Nordic Pine trees in pots, too heavy for me to lift though.
Home and had some soup then Mr P came back with me and we bought a tree.
Now it’s in a corner in the garden ready to be repotted.
Just made two tray bakes : lemon drizzle and cherry and walnut.
Kitchen smells lovely.
Elaine coming for the weekend.
We hope to see the girls dance in Skipton on Sunday before the lights get turned on but expect there will be no Kitty as she is still not well.
Hope the other two don’t catch it.
Just heard our son Tim has got into the next round of the Masters England Squad for touch rugby. He was already in the larger squad but has got through for the next few months of training before the final team is chosen next Spring.
