Giddy Up!
Spent the afternoon at the stables today helping to muck out (although I'm still refusing to pick up horse shit with my hands and I really think my excuse of wearing Dior nail varnish might be wearing a little thin). I also had a horse riding lesson which I loved. I'm quite confident around horses as I used to take lessons when I was little girl and, whilst I'm pretty good at stopping and starting a horse, I seem to have forgotten what aids I need to use to communicate what I want the horse to do. At one point, I had the poor horse more than a little confused as he wasn't sure whether I wanted to stop or take off at a gallop! I'm sure after a few more lessons, it'll all come flooding back to me.
Anyway, today's image is of a beautiful saluki hound called Saffy who was one of the many dogs hanging around the stables today.
Ps After having ridden a little without my feet in stirrups, I'm expecting to be able to crack walnuts between my thighs very soon.
