Snakes in Art

I have been researching an art project on this subject and I have found it very interesting. Due to their skin shedding (Ecdysis), they symbolise rebirth and renewal. They figure in Japanese Art quite regularly, biblical art and also in magic realism (which I am interested in). Traditionally though they have been seen as a negative in all kinds of imagery.

My blip is purely for fun with no hidden, deep meaning.


Today I had a quick dunk (first extra is my friend): coffee snd breakfast in the Little Coffee Shop is second extra; 3rd and 4th extras are random fun snaps whilst shopping.
