The Ringmaster & Her Loyal Dog, Whistable
My days off have suddenly increased as my workload has dropped off, so today we decided to go to the Kentish coast again (I think I'm getting slightly obsessed!). This time we chose to go to the, I've now remembered, very atmospheric Whistable.
Today's main shot was taken at the gorgeous sweeping bay. I spotted this woman and her dog, when suddenly she threw this ring in a beautiful arc and her dog, a ball of muscle, fur and furious, coiled endeavour chased after it (please view large).
The first extra is a rather brilliant image taken by my brother (I'm trying to convince him of the power of taking photographs) of me on the harbour wall (I've told how much I love the shot).
The next image is of the bay itself and the last is of the pub where we went for a drink, the Old Neptune. Had a brilliant day, apart from about five minutes or so where I couldn't find my glasses - I'd got too excited taking images and forgotten I'd left them on the shingle! Luckily, retracing my steps I found them glinting in a rare shaft of sun.
