BRIGHTON

A very special day today....Jan, Jane and I got a train to Brighton to meet Lesley. She is a friend I wasn’t sure I’d ever see again after she was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian cancer in March (the day before we were due to do the Marsden March). She has had a gruelling year with very aggressive treatment but the result is looking good (although still unsure).
After a coffee we had a lovely leisurely walk round the Pavilion and then had lunch inside. It was all quite special.
Gentle prayers of thanks and hope were offered up today.
