Our village has a new pub :)

First visit to newly opened Balerno Inn.

Previously named Malleny Arms.

And locally known as 'The Honky' from WW2 when American pilots were based nearby . Apparently they would frequent the pub and play honky tonk on the piano - how cute is that?

(PS Experiment no 3 and his friends dabbled with underage drinking here. It will be interesting to hear what they make of it when they return to Sleepy Hollow from their farflung lives for Christmas...)
