Trouble in Aisle #8

After turning up last night to buy paint only to find the store closed I was happier that my second attempt this morning was successful.

Bowler Hat grey was the colour for one wall in the lounge.

I got home, painted the wall just in time for my mother in law to survey the work completed and pull a face that said NO!

She then confirmed this diagnosis with a follow up description of how it wasn't the right shade of grey.

You can't please all of the people all of the time.

I must admit to finding DIY superstores slightly seductive. All the stuff you could build, fix, decorate, store, hang. I'd prefer to buy it from the hardware store in walking distance from home but there you go....
