Tending Parkrun

Our parkrun route needed more attention this morning. The drove has been so muddy recently, with no chance of drying out, that we had to clear the way for a diversion.

Last weekend, straw was put down on the muddiest bit on the approach to the diversion, but it wasn’t a lasting solution.

This week, anyone with a wheelbarrow, shovel and/or a rake was asked to help spread bark chips over the mud. A decent number of people turned up to help, so it didn’t take too long. Great fun.
