Peregrine

Just finished this fantastic book. Basically, it's about one man's obsession as he follows the birds of the title around an area of Essex for ten years, condensing this period of time into one sequence between October and April. It's very powerful, as he stalks the birds and begins to learn their habits. The language he uses is poetic in delivery. Worth reading, then dipping into again and again.
