Learning to crochet

I need a new pair of slippers and I've decided to crochet them. Using lovely undyed British wool from British sheep breeds. Picked up a hand-carved Canadian birchwood crochet hook in the Bead Store on Court Street - couldn't resist its smoothness and lovely thistle top. Got the kit, now learning the stitches and before many more months will have new slippers too :-)
