Snow :)

Well the snow arrived today. Not lying down at the house, but it's pretty thick 5 minutes away up the hill, which is where I headed just as it was getting heavier. Headed to The Tree for a followup snow shot, but when i got there it was almost whiteout and looked like this. Opened the window and took the shot from the drivers seat, stuff getting out in that in trainers (wellies were in the boot!).

Never driven an automatic 4x4 in the snow before. Pretty impressed by the traction controls when set to snow, it really does work well. Really impressed by the hire car, now smitten and want one for myself, so will be upgrading Mrs P's in a couple of months time.

What is it with teenage boys and not tidying their room? There was a ding-dong in our house today about the state of #1 Son's room which was an absolute pigsty and he wasn't bothered, which made things even worse.

I'm cooking the HB Cassoulet for dinner, so hopefully everyone sitting down round the table will calm things down. I know we had it last Sunday as well, but its very tasty and I need some leftovers for tomorrows lunch ;)
