Keeping a wary eye open

This Robin perched on this garden tub for quite some time, presumably surveying  the ground for his breakfast. Every so often he would scan the skies looking for danger which is understandable as Sparrowhawks have been known to patrol the area. Another rubbish day with persistent rain most of the time except for a very brief interlude of 15 minutes at lunch time.
