"It's beginning to look a lot like .............."

Yes, starting to get ready and as we have a lot for Sunday dinner tomorrow we thought we may as well take the doors off between the dining room and sitting room as we do each year.
It gives us more room for pulling the table closer to that area as we put the tree in the little 'Conservatory'.
We noticed the dark bits where the hinges came off and have painted them white so they don't stand out so much!
The doors are incredibly heavy, not helped by me getting older! They are glazed, as you can see, but they are also made of solid hardwood which adds to the weight.
Decorations will be sorted out next weekend, Daniel, Joanne and the Rose gang have already done theirs, but they do have small children :-)
