Here be dragons
On the walls and ceilings, intertwined with saints and celtic designs and birds and more celtic designs.
And another dragon, with a stick.
Mimi and I visited the Oratory in Dun Laoghaire. All stencilled and painted over nearly two decades by a mad nun, Sister Contracepta, who could shrivel your testies with one withering look (if you don't believe me, check the extra blip of the day, at your own risk).
Concepta was old school. So was our guide.
Still, the place is definitely worth a visit. Pity they do not do unguided tours...
