Catch Me if You Can
We went for a ride today along the Nehalem River and we saw this Kestrel sitting on power line.....we stopped the car on the quiet side road....I got out to take a photo.....he moved 30 feet away.......I walked closer....he moved again farther away......I walked closer.......he moved again......I took shots along the way and got a couple of decent shots.
The skies were blue and the weather was pleasant......we took a nice walk on the beach in Manzanita.....very nice day. The first extra shows our 14 year old Cocker-poo dog.....she was very happy to be free on the beach. The second extra is a photo of our first beach house....we had it built about 37 years ago and the silly thing is that the beach grass has filled in in front of the house.......there is about a football field of grass before you get to the sand......when we first built the house the sand dune dropped off in front of our deck to the sandy beach.....we planted grass....we pulled up logs to catch a little sand blown in....we planted more grass ... but we never would have dreamed that the shoreline would have changed this much in the next 35 years!!!! So Silly Saturday shots today.
Now we are watching our favorite football team; they are not doing very well.......I am a little worried we are going to lose this game badly. Oh well, it is just a game.
