Dent Village Museum and Heritage Centre
The day started with us inviting our neighbours round for coffee. As I had been away, I was lucky to have some carrot cake in the freezer. Mary Berry said it would freeze well....and it did :-)) The neighbours have been very welcoming and helpful to us and we had wanted to thank them before one of them goes off on holiday. After that we decided to go off to the other side of the Rawthey as the bridge is, once again, open. We stopped off at the Dent Heritage Centre where we came across this model of the Dent Head Viaduct and its working trains. We will go and see the real thing when the weather is better :-)
In the evening we went over the river again and had dinner in the Golf Club. A busy, and enjoyable day.
