Cradle Mountain
Never a dull moment and the grass certainly doesn't grow under our feet!
A shortish drive to our first attraction, two limestone caves - Marakoopa and King Soloman's Cave; both spectacular in different ways.
Then a long drive over to Cradle Mountain through endless miles of forests. It's such a popular place that there are car parks and buses to the various dropoff points for walks. We were a bit too late arriving to achieve any decent walk but did get very good views of the 'main attraction' - the mountain itself. Fortunately the light was very good and we count ourselves lucky as tomorrow the place is likely to be covered in cloud.
We are stopping tonight at the main camping site for Cradle Mountain and will head off elsewhere in the morning. My personal tour guide is now studying maps intently for suitable routes and venues... .
